Using your Hyaluronic Acid Serum to its fullest potential?
USE IT ONLY ON DAMP SKIN:
Vitamin C Hyaluronic Acid Serum draws and locks moisture into the skin. It needs water/hydration to do this, though. The Vitamin C Hyaluronic Acid Serum should always be applied on damp skin to give it a supply of water to lock in. To apply Vitamin C Hyaluronic Acid Serum directly to damp skin, pat your face dry with your hands rather than a towel after cleansing. Or after cleansing, use a toner to dampen your skin and then apply HA.
SEAL IT WITH A GOOD MOISTURIZER:
A good moisturizer will prevent your skin from losing the moisture that serum with hyaluronic acid has just provided. Your moisturizer will form a protective layer that prevents moisture from evaporating in the air and keeps it intact in your skin layers.
AVOID USING TOO MANY VITAMIN C SERUM BASED PRODUCTS AT ONE TIME:
It is suggested to not use a lot of vitamin c serum based products like serums, toners, moisturizers, makeup, etc at one go. As it can be a little too much for your skin and will end up sucking moisture from the deeper layers of skin, leaving it dry and dehydrated. Even while using serum with hyaluronic acid, only take a pea-sized amount enough to form a thin layer on your entire face. Do not overdo serum with hyaluronic acid as less is sufficient and good enough to deliver the results.
